Not necessarily the one that won the most. The one with the stories. The one that tested your child, taught them something or became part of the family in a way nobody expected.

Ask your child this question:
What is one thing about this animal you never want to forget?
Write down their answer. It may be a habit, a nickname, a difficult moment or something that would mean very little to anyone outside your family.
Those are often the details that disappear first.
